Arnold’s Raid Program
This is a FREE program offered by the National Park Service and St. John’s Church Foundation. Join us at Historic St. John’s Church for the afternoon speaker portion of Benedict Arnold’s Raid Day.
Doors open for the Arnold Program at 12:30 pm.
Our only Church Tour on this day will be at 10:00 am.
We can do Pop-Ins from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.
A Pop-In is a brief visit inside the church with a guide.
The cost is $5 per person.
Tickets are sold in the Visitor Center.
Talk Schedule
1 pm: Author Jennifer Epstein-Rudnick “Search for the Signers: Visiting the Graves of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence”
2 pm: Dr. Michael Dickinson “Loyalty to Liberty: African Americans in the Revolution”
3 pm: Historian Bill Welsch “Where a Man Can Go- The Revolutionary Battle of Petersburg”
4 pm: Benedict Arnold In the Flesh, portrayed by Marc Holma
House Rules for Historic St. John’s Church
We encourage masks but they are no longer required.
Seating is first come, first served.
There is no food, drink, gum, candy, strollers, backpacks or firearms permitted inside the church.
Bags larger than 16 x 16 x 8 are prohibited inside the church. Any and all bags are subject to inspection. Please leave backpacks and bags inside your vehicle as we have no place to store them.
