Costume Contest*
The Winner is Announced
*About the Contest
What do I have to do to enter? Nothing. Except buy a ticket to Fancy Me Mad and dress up for the evening. When Poe is finished reading (about 8:30 PM), participants will remain in the church and present themselves to the Judge. When all contestants have presented, the Judge will declare the winner(s?) and we will take photos. The evening should be over by 9:00 PM.
How will I be judged? You will be judged throughout the evening (the Judge will walk amongst you), and again at the 8:30 PM presentation. Contest judging will be based on creativity, authenticity, and whatever else the Judge wishes to consider.
There will be TWO levels for the contest: one group is 13 and under; the other is 14 and up.
What is the prize? Besides having the time of your life? Well, the GRAND PRIZE is a Misery is Manifold Poe-themed Graveyard Tour delivered by Dean Knight, Knight-and-Shining Poe Aficionado (and one of the spirits in the graveyard), for you and up to ~15 friends. Preferably on an evening in the near future….
