Welcome to our Web Site. We hope you find this site useful and helpful in learning about St. John's. We are an active parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia and also a National Historic Landmark. We are a place of both the sacred and the historic. Because Patrick Henry's "Liberty or death" speech was spoken in the church during the Second Virginia Convention, we have over 40,000 visitors a year. We hope you will be one of them. Please join us for worship, for a tour, or a reenactment. A visit to St. John's will inspire your patriotism, but also give you hope and strength for your spiritual journey in your daily living.
